Blyde Dam Boat Cruise BCS

Swadini, Hoedspruit

Activity Description

Blyde Canyon Safaris, together with the Moletele community, offer scenic boat trips on the Blyde Dam. This is your opportunity to see the famous Three Rondawels and the Blyde River Canyon from the angle it’s supposed to be seen: while you’re on the water, at the base of the towering mountains that form these breathtaking sights. Tick off those last couple of birds that have been eluding your bird list and enjoy seeing the hippo’s and crocodiles that make this dam their home.

We are passionate about nature and preserving the few untouched pieces that remain in South Africa. We aim to offer everyone the opportunity to experience the beauty that the Lowveld has to offer. We run several activities and excursions and through our sister company, Blyde Adventure Camp, adventure and leadership camps for large groups.

We offer daily trips at 9am, 11am, and 3pm. Join one of our trips or book the entire boat for yourself. Use our friendly online booking system on this website, or contact our office to make your booking.

Easy booking process. Excellent guide! I will definitely recommend this activity as a must do Blyde river Experience. - Nicolette

Good day team, For my wife and myself it was our "rd cruise with you and it was as good as the e others, even better I would say! The crew was friendly, polite and very good in pointing out animals lying on the shore , nearly unvisible for our untrained eye!! I will recommend our experience to the people, that II know they will come the region!! Hopefully I can enjoy another cruise soon! Stay well, have a nice day! Carl - Carl

We really enjoyed the boat cruise. It's a such a relaxing way to spend a morning, just taking in the scenery. The boat isn't too big so it's not crowded. Our guide/skipper had some good knowledge to share and we enjoyed his stories and learnt some interesting things. It's great to see the canyon from a different point of view. Would highly recommend! We had an amazing time at the Blyde Dam Boar Cruise with BCS. The boat wat beautiful and comfortable and the guide and skipper were very nice and had loads of information about the environment, the animals and the dam itself. We were amazed and in awe of the beauty of the canyon and the 'weeping face of nature'. There were only three boats in total in the canyon and that was amazing. They all had a different route, which made the entire experience almost private. We absolutely recommend this trip for anyone who's ready to be blown away by the force of nature. - Marlotte

Wonderful trip, knowledgeable and friendly guide and captain, thank you very much - Filip
